UPDATE - Current cleansing skincare routine!

Hello! Welcome back to my blog and a fresh new blog post! I have not posted much about my skincare routine in a long time, so I thought I really should update a bit. My current skincare routine includes a couple of products I am trying out for the first time and also a couple that I want to use up and have been already mentioned on the blog. To keep this post a bit shorter I am only talking about products I use for cleansing my face. Here's what I use on my every day basis!

Step one - getting rid off makeup! I am using one of these two to remove my makeup - Garnier Biphase Micellar Cleansing water in oil or L'Oreal Extraordinary oil milky gel. If I am using less makeup I opt for the micellar version and if my skin is in a relatively good condition. When I feel like my skin is oily and dehydrated at the same time or I have loads of base products on my skin I opt for the milky gel. I feel like the milky gel gets the job done better, as it really gets into the skin and I massage it in and than rinse off. The micellar I use with a cotton pad and I can see it gets a lot of makeup but there is still a little something left. As for heavy duty waterproof makeup - I don't really use a lot of waterproof products, so I can not say if these two remove them well or not. For everyday stuff they do the job, remove mascara or any lip stains and such pretty well. I have to admit that even though I was surprised that this micellar version is so much better than the rest I have tried so far, the milky gel just gets the job done quicker and leaves my skin softer.

Step two - clean and tone! After getting my makeup off I use face cleansing gel or foam or any such kind of product. Currently I am using Afrodita Cosmetics Clean Up Cleansing foram for sensitive skin*. I have received this one , along with the toner, last year at Lepotno2016 blogger event and I really like both of these! the foam is super gentle, has very light scent, nothing too obvious. My skin feels soft, clean, there are no irritations, no redness after I use this. Also  no tight and dry feeling, which is super awesome! Last step is a toner, currently Afrodita Cosmetics Clean Up Hydro tonic with hyaluron. This has a spray dispenser, but I actually prefer to use it with a cotton pad. Just to make sure I really got all the makeup off and it's easier to apply it on neckline. It's gentle, hydrating, feels light on the skin and gets absorbed quickly. Also doesn't leave any sticky feeling on the skin or breaks out my skin. Big thumbs up for both of these products!

Step three - the extras! Two products I am about to use up pretty soon - Oriflame NovAge Micro Exfoliating scrub* and L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime perfecting mist. Once or twice a week I need something more to keep my pores clean and I am trying not to buy more products but stick to the ones I already have and like. I was sent this exfoliating scrub but it is honestly so fine and does the job so well! My skin really likes the gentle effect without any irritations I usually feel when using scrubs. I have already posted about this one here, and I would love to repurchase it! This gives my skin a very gentle peeling, skin feels soft and plump! There's no redness or dry, tight feeling after using this. The last product is perfecting mist, a little something I treated myself with last year for my birthday and I have almost used it up now. This smells divine! I mostly use it instead of the toner, when I feel like pampering myself a bit more. The spray pump could be a bit more fine, to get a better mist effect, but I still like it. Again, no greasy residue on my skin, feels nice and hydrating, smells like peonies. What more do you want?

This is all for my current cleansing skincare routine. I use a lot of face masks and such as well, but I might end up posting about those separately. Hope you liked this post, give it a thumbs up, share it, leave a comment and let me know what you think, do you have any recommendations, have you tried any of these products?

Thanks for reading!

Love, UniqaPoly
